Propagation du Coronavirus: 5 nouveaux cas contacts et 2 cas issus de la transmission communautaire
L’état d’urgence décrété par le Chef de l’Etat Macky Sall pour freiner la propagation du coronavirus n’a pas encore fait sentir ses effets. Car la liste des personnes testées positives s’allonge. La preuve, ce vendredi, 7 avril 2020, le ministre de la Santé et de l’Action sociale a signalé 7 nouveaux cas de contamination au Covid-19 sur les 287 tests de diagnostic effectués. Il s’agit de 5 cas contacts suivis et de 2 cas issus de la transmission communautaire, a précisé Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr lors du point quotidien de l’épidémie.
Selon le ministre, 4 patients ont été déclarés guéris. L’état de santé des patients hospitalisés est stable, a—t-il assuré.
A ce jour, 342 cas ont été déclarés positifs au Sénégal dont 198 guéris. Deux patients sont décédés et un autre évacué en France. Au total, 141 patients sont sous traitement dans les établissements de santé.
Le ministre de la Santé a réitéré aux populations l’appel constant des autorités au respect strict des règles d’hygiène édictées contre la maladie à coronavirus et invite au port du masque dans les marchés et les transports.
